LOCATION
The Portofino Hotel is located on one of the best pieces of land in Redondo Beach being steps away from the Ocean, Marina, and Pier. If you are planning a trip from out of town, the Hotel is only about 20 minutes away from LAX.
THE PROPERTY
The Hotel was originally opened in 1962 but was just recently renovated with a new lobby and upgraded guest rooms and luxury suites. The resort has a fitness center, business center, and an ocean front pool and hot tub perfect for enjoying a California Sunset.

There is a large array of amenities and activities at The Portofino Hotel as it's located in the heart of the Marina. Enjoy a Kayak or Standup Paddle Board in the calm waters where you can enjoy beautiful coastline views. Rent a boat or go on a boat charter for an adventure on the Pacific Ocean. Rent a Beach Cruiser or E Bike and cruise along all of the best Beach towns from Redondo Beach all the way north to Malibu.
You can also meet new friends thanks to the Sea Lions that are constantly sun bathing or relaxing in the Marina. Keep your eyes peeled as you can also see plenty of wildlife from dolphins and even breaching whales out in the water as they migrate down the coast from Alaska to Mexico.
DINING
The BALEENkitchen and Lounge is a perfect place to enjoy a meal, drink, or snack as it sits right along the Marina. With chic Interiors and delicious food and drinks, you are sure to enjoy your dining experience.
The Living Room and Craft Cocktail Bar serves drinks and a small bite menu and is a perfect place to relax after a day by the beach or exploring Los Angeles. You can enjoy the couches by the fireplace or look out through the two story glass windows at the beautiful Pacific Ocean views.
