San Diego is one of my favorite vacation destinations with a walkable city next to some of California's best beaches. If you want a hotel that puts you right in the middle of San Diego’s energy, without sacrificing comfort, then the Omni San Diego is a must book property for you.

LOCATION
The Omni San Diego Location is 10/10.
Directly connected to Petco Park via a private skybridge (ultimate place to stay for visitors coming for a baseball game)
Steps from the Gaslamp Quarter (walking distance to all the restaurants, bars, nightlife)
Convenient for San Diego Convention Center
10–15 minutes to the airport
Quick access to the freeway for visting some of the best beaches in San Diego
ROOMS & SUITES
Rooms are clean, modern, and most importantly comfortable. The elevated design makes for a great room for your stay.
What stands out:
Floor-to-ceiling windows in many rooms
Upgraded views of the bay or Petco Park are worth it!
Spacious layouts compared to typical city hotels
And don't forget to upgrade to a room of Petco Park for these views!
AMENITIES ON PROPERTY
Heated outdoor pool with palm tree lined roof top deck
Solid fitness center (above average for a city hotel)
Zumbido – rooftop bar/lounge with solid cocktails
Ace Porter – casual American fare
The restaurants and bars on property are great but I always recommend experiencing the iconic Gaslamp district for great restaurants and bars as well.
WHO IT'S PERFECT FOR
Padres fans or visiting baseball fans - THIS IS THE HOTEL
Business travelers / convention attendees
Weekend trips where you want walkability
First-time San Diego visitors who want to be in the heart of all the action
OVERALL
The Omni San Diego wins on location, convenience, and solid overall quality.
If your trip is built around walkability, comfort, and views, this is one of the smartest bookings in San Diego.
