It is finally March! Spring is almost here and winter is finally behind us! You are most likely thawing out after a cold winter and want to look for a Spring Getaway. Here are three trends for spring travel to help you plan your next trip.
EXPERIENCES
Now that travel is back and even exceeding pre-pandemic levels, vacations have become more purposeful and everyone is looking for ways to truly immerse themselves in their vacations. One way to do that is trying a new experience like an RV Getaway! RV vacations are a unique way to travel allowing you to visit multiple destinations in one trip without needing to unpack. It is also great if you are looking to escape and get off the grid by enjoying the great outdoors. Get as close to nature as you want to as many RVs have kitchens, bathrooms, and showers providing you with everything you need no matter where the road takes you. This is also a great for last minute trip planning in case hotels or flights are already fully booked!
SET JETTERS
Expedia has coined this phrase to represent the boom for locations from our favorite TV Shows. Their data shows that 61 Percent of people watching their favorite shows felt inspired to visit those actual places.
The travel booking website has seen increases in destinations like Paris after the hit show Emily in Paris as well as an increase for an outdoor cowboy-cation to Yellowstone after the famed Yellowstone series. Additionally, many people have been looking to splurge for luxury for the "White Lotus" life by booking stays at the Four Seasons hotels in Maui and Italy.
PAUSE
Life is tough and most of us are always on the go. Vacation gives us the opportunity to slow down, reset, and just press pause. One of my favorite places to do this is a destination like Sonoma County.
Springtime is the perfect time to visit Sonoma County as they have tons of outdoor activities from horseback riding at the beach, forest bathing in the Redwoods, hiking the great outdoors, or just relaxing with a spa treatment at one of the many fantastic resorts. And of course, we can't forget about the wine tasting!
If you haven't planned your trip, now is the time to spring in to action and plan your Spring getaway!
